We’ve pulled together some of the best Mother’s Day brunches in San Diego. Treat your mom this year and make some special memories.

“A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take”

Cardinal Mermillod.

There is no greater truth.

Mother’s Day. The May holiday is when families honor their mothers. This year Mother’s Day falls on the 14th, 2023. Some of the most popular ways to celebrate the mom in your life is by sending a beautiful bouquet of flowers or, better yet, taking her out for a fancy Mother’s Day brunch. After all, she deserves that special attention surrounded by those she loves.

We’ve pulled together some of the best Mother’s Day brunches in San Diego. Each of these restaurants has been confirmed to be hosting a special Mother’s Day brunch on May 8th. But exact menus, times, and prices are yet to be finalized, and reservations are not yet open.

These restaurants assured us they will soon be taking reservations. So, we advise that once you choose the perfect place to celebrate mom, check the website and information we’ve provided. Most venues offer online reservations. Go for it, as mom will love you even more after you treat her to a very special Mother’s Day!

And though both outdoor restaurants, Serẽa and Sheerwater offer Sunday and holiday brunches, this year we’re told the Hotel Del is bringing back the Grand Duchess of all brunches for Easter and Mother’s Day – the Crown Room Brunch.

If you’ve never dined at the Crown Room, we guarantee it’s an experience you won’t forget. Aptly named for its crowned chandeliers designed by Wizard of Oz author, L.
